They say everyone has their own demons that they wrestle with daily, but Ezra doesn’t. He embraces them and treats them like his friends. What scares me the most is how the darkness within me awakens every time he’s near, like his abyss snuffs out the light within me. It spreads into my veins, consuming me, until I no longer know who I am without him.
