We live with so many damn secrets.
I wish I were one of them. I wish I could crawl into the abyss and never emerge again. The promise of a future with someone I don’t love, let alone an enemy, is enough to claw me back into insatiable habits and into the resounding pain I’ve tried so hard to muffle over the many years.
I despise everything about her and as long as her life is tied to mine, I will make her suffer for the things her family has done. I won’t stop, until she’s begging on her knees for my mercy.
Even then, I don’t plan to give it to her.
